[Issue Report & Fix] Intermittent Ethernet Disconnection on MOUC0231 Docking Station

  • A recurring issue has been observed when using the MOUC0231 docking station with two identical laptops. Initially, the Ethernet connection works without problems, but after several hours of use, it either stops functioning entirely or becomes highly unstable. This issue has appeared recently, though the laptops and docking station had been operating normally for months. It's suspected that a recent Windows update might be related.

Notably, the Ethernet connection works flawlessly when connected directly to the laptop, eliminating potential issues with the router, switch, or Ethernet cable. The problem seems isolated to the dock's Ethernet functionality.

A temporary workaround has been identified—disconnecting the dock’s power supply restores Ethernet functionality 100% of the time, though only temporarily.

To better solve the problem, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:

① It’s recommended to use driver management software like Driver Talent Pro, Driver Magician, Driver Booster Pro, or Driver Reviver to update all system drivers—especially the network adapter driver.

② Uninstall the network driver associated with the MOUC0231 device, unplug the product, restart your computer, then plug it back in and wait for the driver to reinstall automatically.

③ Replace other chargers for testing. If the original charger of the computer has USB-C, use the original charger.

These steps have helped some users solve the problem. If the problem persists, please contact customer service for assistance.
