HDMI monitors not being recognized

  • I just bought a Mokin USB-C dock. I'm trying to connect it to a UGREEN USB 3.0 switch to toggle all peripherals between my work and personal computers.

I have a USB mouse/keyboard that switches between the two perfectly fine, but I can't get my two monitors to connect. However, when I plug in the Mokin dock directly to my laptop, the monitors work.

How can I get the monitors to work through the switch?

  • Hi @Kay

Thanks for taking the time to contact us.

Please provide the product model and specific laptop model.

Could you provide the product URL of the UGREEN USB 3.0 switch together?

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Best regards

  • @Mokin Global thanks for getting back to me. The laptop is Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i 16" TS laptop and the desktop is Lenovo IdeaCentre T540 with NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti.

This is the Mokin dock and this is the UGREEN USB switcher.

  • @Kay Thanks for the information you provided.

Due to the product not being compatible with the switch and the desktop not supporting video output, you can not get the monitors to work through the switch.

If you need assistance, please feel free to contact us.

    Best regards
