Problem with streaming platform

  • Dear Mokin Team and forum members,

I have a Mokin USB-C Docking Station (MODK0301) and I have a problem with streaming platform.
I connect two screens in addition to my Macbook.
When InstanView (V3.24 R01) is disconnected only one screen and my macbook work and I can view video from streaming platforms (Netflix, Prime...).

When I activate InstantView, all the screen works but video from streaming platform are black (sound is okay but no images) whatever the screen I use and whatever the apps or browser I use.

Is anybody can help me ?

    Thank you.

  • Hi, thank you for your message and for the detailed description of the issue.

When InstantView is enabled, its display output does not support HDCP. As a result, DRM-protected content from streaming platforms such as Netflix cannot be played (video appears black with audio only). The HDMI 1 port on the dock is a native output that does support HDCP. Connecting your display to HDMI 1 without enabling InstantView will allow streaming platforms to work normally.

    Best regards

  • Hello.
    Thank you for your answer.
That's a shame because your system in this case is useless. I will have to send it back to the reseller and to find another brand.
Do you plan an update to fix this problem ?
    Thank you.
