How to Set Up an Extended Display on Windows and Mac

  • Having an extended display can significantly improve your productivity by giving you more screen space to work with. Whether you're using a Windows PC or a Mac, setting up an extended display is straightforward.

Follow the steps below to set up an extended display:

Windows: Right-click on the desktop>Graphics Settings>Display>Clone Display/Extend Display>Select Extended Display (video mirroring is converted to extended, just need win+p)

Mac: top right corner of the computer > Apple icon > System Preferences > Display > Display Settings > used to select mirroring and extension here (or shortcut keys hold down the command key + F1 shortcut switch)

If the monitor is still a duplicate screen that doesn't separate, please provide a video or picture of the detailed connection between the dock and the monitor, and also provide a picture of the monitor setup.
