I just received the 160W GaN+ All in One Station (PU1102) and it's working very well apart one non-functional USB-A port (devices aren't even detected on that port). This isn't about that, though.
I know it's probably not possible, but it would be really cool if the device display could have a clock face. I'd love to be able to look down to check the time and date. I know this would require a firmware update, would only work if controller that manages the display could emulate a HID device, and would require software be installed on the host device.
Just wanted to make sure the suggestion was out there.
Hi @Mark Lyon,
Thanks for your feedback and valuable suggestion. We will forward your idea to our technical team for consideration in future product optimization and upgrades.
Regarding the non-functional USB-A port, here are some troubleshooting tips that may help identify and resolve the problem.
▪ For the laptop:
If you have a Windows laptop, update the USB driver to see if the problem persists.
If you have a MacBook, update your operating system to the latest version
Try this device with a different laptop to see if the issue persists.
▪ For the connected USB-A device:
Confirm if the device works normally without the dock.
Try a different USB-A device to see whether it works normally when connected to the dock.
▪ For the dock:
Try using a different hub/dock to see whether the problem persists.
If the issue persists, please provide a complete connection diagram showing connections (product, computer, peripherals).
Best regards
