I assume that the 3.5 mm audio jack provides stereo ( 2-channel) output as well as microphone input. Is this correct? I do not have sound ro right speaker. I have not tested the microphone yet.
Do I have a defective Thunderbolt 4 docking station? Just purchased last week.
Problem solved. Typical Windows problem!
Yes, a 3.5 mm combo jack on most Thunderbolt 4 docks is designed to provide stereo output (left and right channels) and microphone input. If your right speaker has no sound, it could indicate either a defective dock or a bad cable/headphone—try testing with another headset before assuming the dock is faulty.
